Caesar

January 31, 2008

Julius Caesar’s family claimed to be related to Romulus (founder of Rome). Caesar was born in Rome. When he was young he wanted to be a consul of Rome. Instead of a consul, since there were already enough, the people sent him out to help the Roman cities in Spain. Finally, he convinced the other consuls for them to become a Triumvirate. But when he became a consul, he ignored the Senate. The Roman Senate wished he would become more like Cinncinatus. But he just kept on doing his own way.

  1. Hi there my Hannah girl,
What a great job you did on Julius Cesar. It was very informative and included a lot of facts about Cesar.
Hope you are having a great week. I miss you and can’t wait to see you again. Take care. I love you, Grandma.
